Description

Ever since I designed this coat I haven’t taken it off. Like wearing a blanket, literally and in the best possible way, I have put it effortlessly over everything from jean skirts and cowboy boots, to sweaters and overalls and big cotton dresses with red lipstick, or not. I have had fun layering and accessorizing, letting the cuffs and collar of my vintage denim chore jacket peek out and am so excited to introduce it this season with a trim little tie belt that allows it to cinch and gather so beautifully! I made it purposefully in one perfect size that was intended to be inclusive of everyone, and because I love simple cotton prints I made sure we added a wide bias binding around all the edges to indulge in the joy of pattern play. It is of course equipped with big patch pockets to hold everything you could ever need including chilly hands and is made one by one using the gorgeous vintage blankets and heirloom quilts I have collected and found so much beauty in along the way. This coat makes me feel happy every time I put it on and I know you’re going to love it too.

Special Note

Made of a wide range of quilt and blanket types in varying conditions, please note that some coats are lined and others are not in cases where the other side of the quilt was just too beautiful to cover up! Every coat has tidy binded edges and seams and may even be worn inside-out!
