The Heirloom Patchwork Dress
The Heirloom Patchwork Dress
Description
An emotional archive of life in pieces, our original Heirloom Patchwork Dress is made scrap by scrap the real and only way, and across any table we could find a moment to work at. A sacred and soul-soothing process at the heart of everything we do, each eclectic and one of a kind masterpiece acts as a canvas for our salvaged heirloom textile art as well as a meeting place for the life force of lost and love-filled fibers that inspire us most of all. Designed in an effortlessly oversized, tiered silhouette, every detail is artfully and intuitively plotted in a unique combination of preserved heritage patchwork, vintage cotton remnants and contemporary fabrics left over from collections past. Skillfully serged and stitched together for lasting durability and built with deep side seam pockets, a traditional folk-inspired curved neckline and exquisitely gathered lantern-shaped sleeves, each garment is finished with a hand-paired calico ruffle trim and an endearing fabric-covered shank button for an added authentic touch. Wear to a wedding, gallery, market or the park, we have created a true labour of love to live at the heart of your wardrobe and world.
