The Yes Dress

I have been so excited about this dress. To me it is perfect! Made in the most beautiful cotton-linen in a classic blue check, it reminds me of the best tea towel in my drawer; the one I’m always happiest to reach for in a freshly tidied kitchen with a jug of flowers from the market sitting on the table. The little red buttons give it everything, without an ounce too much, and the loose and easy silhouette with its deep side pockets makes me feel so comfortable and at home wherever I am. I can dry my hands on it, and my kids little faces. I can toss it over my shoulder when I’m carrying loads of laundry around the house while packing for a trip so I don’t forget it, and wear it on repeat when I’m away. In the car, out for ice cream, to the beach, to the market, out for dinner, in the morning and in the car again on the way home. It is the perfect summer staple that is always a yes and we all need a faithful, beautiful piece like that to keep things easy and happy so I'll pretty much be living in mine.
