If only you could have been there, like a little fly on the wall as these incredibly moving and hugely ambitious pieces of unbridled art and love came to life in the socked-in cold of a long Canadian winter. From deep beneath the cutting table, in a tangled mess of carefully kept scraps left over from every piece we’d ever made, I had been waiting to dig in one more time. Sun-faded pinks, softened ochres, tattered cross-stitching and loose yarn tails, I knew and remembered every piece. In massive armfuls I let them fall across the cutting table, bearing witness to the quiet conversations that seemed to lead one to another. I followed their lead, felt their pull, and marvelled at just how lucky I was to have been with them along the way between where they had come from and where they were going in this ever-changing world. I hope you love what we have created here, a cozy oversized pullover felt like the right call. Something you could wear a lot, and with ease, over denim, or pjs, with slippers, or sweet heeled boots, and that would warm you in a way few other things could. In this collection there are only eight.

Our Patchwork Pullover is made for the love of it and we couldn’t help but make a few more!  Arriving this time in a cropped version landing at the hip, wear over a cotton dress or under a quilt or denim chore coat for versatile spring styling and to cut the fading winter wind.

Thoughtfully designed in one size silhouette to make this very limited collection as accessible as possible. 

Made of premium, hand-picked vintage crochet blankets, each textile has been carefully selected for its premium yarn quality and hand-feel, however, our fibre content remains unknown. If you have an allergy to wool you may want to steer clear or plan to wear a layer underneath which there is certainly room for.
