Description
The perfect coat, perfected, the Dawson Coat embraces the art of simplicity while letting the textiles do the talking. Drafted across our studio worktable in a relaxed, one size silhouette and arriving in the most coveted collection of turn of the century crazy quilts, early Mennonite wool patchwork, and impressive calico prints, our mission was to create a pattern that allowed us to maintain the integrity and original characteristics of each blanket waiting to be salvaged. Unlined with authentic backings and edges preserved, each and every aspect has been cherished in the making of each magnificent reworked masterpiece. Complete with a clean-finished interior of bias-bound seams and the deepest patch pockets our hands could ever hope for, the Dawson Coat layers beautifully, looks great belted and is warm enough for a Canadian winter.
Made With Love in Toronto Since 2003.
