A spring and summer weight quilt coat made to meet the morning light, our authentic antique patchwork Market Coat carries an invitation to enjoy these longer days to the fullest. An easy-wearing silhouette with wide bell sleeves, glossy red buttons and pockets x four (!!), this collection of sun-faded cottons and time-softened prints was crafted to accompany airy white sundresses, weathered denim and a basket bag to gently fold her in and out of as the path rolls on.

An easy-wearing hip-length silhouette with a relaxed, gently gathered shoulder, bell shaped sleeve ideal for rolling up and pockets in the side seam as well as in the front. 

Each coat is one of a kind, made of responsibly salvaged hand-stitched antique quilts from the late 19th to 20th century. Their signs of age, wear and existence hold stories of the past that deserve to be honoured and embraced. 

Fully lined with 100% Japanese red floral cotton.
